Queensland
Clubs and facilities are supported by Golf Australia with the "Grant Writing Assitance Program", facilitated by our consultants, Red Tape Busters. Red Tape Busters lead the process by understanding your project needs and the grant guidelines. They will guide you through the action you need to take to give your organisation the best chance of success, and when you are ready, apply on your behalf. To get the process started, fill out the expression of interest form below and submit to Andrew Hamilton from Red Tape Busters, at andrewhamilton@redtapebusters.com.au.

Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF)
Not-for-profit groups operating in Queensland can apply for grants from $500 to $35,000 ($100,000 for the super round) through the Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF).
In 2024, the GCBF program will have 4 funding rounds available with closing dates pending:
$100,000 super round for all priorities — expected closing in February
$35,000 standard grant round — May
$35,000 standard grant round — August
$35,000 standard grant round — October.

Inclusive Facilities Fund – dates pending
Only a $10m fund to enhance accessibility, safety, and inclusiveness, including for women and girls and people with disability. The objective is to build on community sport and recreation facilities that support improved accessibility, inclusion, and utilisation.
Applications for the Inclusive Facilities Fund will open later in 2024.
Minor Infrastructure R3 – dates pending
The Minor Infrastructure Program provides funding for infrastructure projects that enhance community participation opportunities through the provision of spaces that are:
safe - reduced exposure to health and safety risk
quality- meeting standard required for community level participation
efficient - more efficient use of the places and spaces (can be used by more people, cater for more activities, be used for longer hours)
inclusive and accessible - enhancing usability of places and spaces and ensuring no one is excluded from participation.
Grants up to $250k but maybe higher depending on geographical location.
Active Industry Project Fund (Super Round in February 2024)
Only peak bodies such as State Sporting Organisations are eligible.

Northern Territory
Community Benefit Fund: Minor Community Grants
Minor community grants aims to improve the capacity of not-for-profit organisations to provide services, leisure activities and opportunities to Territorians. Eligible organisations can apply for amounts up to $15,000.
The priorities are applications:
from organisations with no paid positions (volunteer based)
that will provide a tangible ongoing community benefit beyond the period of the grant funding
that will provide a particular benefit to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Territorians
that will enhance the preservation of culture and heritage in the Territory.
Applications for funding can be lodged all year-round. There are 12 rounds per year.

Community Benefit Fund: Major Community Grants
Major community grants provides funding to provide services, leisure activities and opportunities to Territorians. Eligible organisations can apply for amounts between $15,001 and $250,000.
The priorities are:
Applications for infrastructure improvements or asset purchases that can demonstrate an ongoing community benefit beyond the period of funding.
Applications that support the growth of the NT and; provide multi-level stimulus through the outcome of the grant and/or also use local suppliers and contractors in the process of completing the grant.
Round 1
1 July - round opens and you can apply
31 August - round closes
31 October - you will be notified.
Round 2
1 January - round opens and you can apply
28 February - round closes
30 April - you will be notified.

Tasmania
The Active Tasmania Equipment Grants Program
Eligible clubs and facilities can apply for grants of between $2,000 - $30,000 to assist with the purchase of additional or replacement equipment
Applicants are required to contribute at least 30% of the total equipment cost

New South Wales
Stronger Communities Programme (Round 8)
Round 8 of the program aims to support communities recover from the widespread impacts of adverse weather events and current economic pressures. Suited to small capital items and infrastructure projects.
$2,500 to $20,000 are available to a maximum of 20 grants p/federal electorate. Pool of $150,000 p/each federal electorate.
